Cancellation and Refund Policy for Nashik Marathon

 

Effective Date: 10th June 2025

 

Please read this policy carefully. By registering for the Nashik Marathon, you agree to the terms outlined below.

 

1. Participant-Initiated Cancellations

 

  • No Cancellation of Registration: Once your registration for the Nashik Marathon is submitted and payment is successfully processed, your participation cannot be cancelled for any reason.

  • No Refunds: All registration fees paid for the Nashik Marathon are non-refundable. This policy applies strictly and without exception, regardless of the circumstances leading to a participant's inability to take part in the event (e.g., injury, illness, personal emergency, travel issues, or any other unforeseen circumstances). We are unable to provide refunds or credits for future events for participant-initiated withdrawals.

 

2. Event Cancellation or Postponement by Organizer

In the unlikely event that the Nashik Marathon is cancelled, postponed, or significantly altered due to circumstances beyond the Organizer's control, including but not limited to:

 

  • Natural disasters (e.g., floods, earthquakes)

  • Acts of God

  • Epidemics or pandemics (e.g., COVID-19 related restrictions)

  • Government orders, directives, or restrictions

  • Civil unrest, riots, or acts of terrorism

  • Any other force majeure event that makes holding the event unsafe, illegal, or impractical.

 

In such scenarios:

 

  • No Refunds of Registration Fees: The Organizer regrets that no refunds of registration fees will be issued. The significant upfront costs associated with event planning, permits, logistics, and supplier commitments make it impossible to offer refunds in such circumstances.

  • Organizer's Discretion: The Organizer will assess the situation and, at its sole discretion, may offer alternatives which could include:

  • Deferral of your registration to a future edition of the Nashik Marathon.

  • Conversion of the physical race entry to a virtual race (if applicable).

  • Other solutions as deemed appropriate by the Organizer.

  • Communication: Any decisions regarding event cancellation, postponement, or alternative arrangements will be communicated to all registered participants via email and through the official Nashik Marathon website and social media channels. Participants are encouraged to regularly check these platforms for updates.

 

3. Transfer of Registration

 

  • No Transfers: Registration entries for the Nashik Marathon are personal to the registrant and are strictly non-transferable to any other individual or to a different race category.
